Have you ever realized that some of the things that you want carry more of an emotional attachment and are weightier than a regular want? Let me explain. Every want that we have is not a filler-want, meaning that the ordinary want is fine but there are certain things that we want that cause us to feel contentment, satisfaction, relief, and fulfillment or just filled up. I realized the difference when my wife and I, both givers, would bump heads trying to give to each other to make one another happy. Time after time we would both be set on giving that nobody was happy, until I asked if what we did would fill the person up. To illustrate my point, if my wife craved a salad from her favorite restaurant and I just wanted to eat then by understanding her want I would choose her place because that would fill her up emotionally and I would still get to eat. Being able to distinguish these can bring a greater sense of fulfillment to your life.

Have you ever found yourself waiting for everything to be perfect before moving forward? After sitting with numerous people I can say that you are not alone. Yes, even I want everything to be at its best before moving forward then one day I was talking with a client and this statement came out of my mouth. “Perfection without the process is unrealistic. You must first go through the process for perfection to have its work which causes you to be presentable.” In other words, a piece of coal must endure extreme temperatures and intense pressure before transforming into a diamond. Then being found in its raw state the diamond is put through a process of being cut, faceted and polished before being put on display. Embrace the process and move forward in order to make things happen. Keep pressing towards fulfilling your dreams and destiny.

Can you remember the last time that you went on vacation and were traveling by car? The excitement about getting away has you tossing and turning in the bed the night before and you pop out of bed an hour or two earlier than planned, jump into the car and get on the road. You make it to the highway, map in hand, observing the time to see how far you can get ahead of schedule. You are winning!

A few stops to look at the scenery, eat a snack and stretch because you had such a great start.

Traffic! Road Work! Unplanned Stops! Restlessness! Fatigue!

The length of the trip has begun to sink in and now you can’t wait to get there and get out of the car. The DVD’s, books on tape, games are not doing the trick and you have 10 more hours to go. In a few minutes you see…REST STOP AHEAD…1 MILE.

You get over to the right lane, put on your blinker and exit.

This stop changes drastically from the previous excursions and now you mean business. You pull out the map, check the time, stretch and get focused in order to make up time to get you to the desired destination at the desired time.

How can we relate this scenario to our business goals? We get excited at the beginning of the year and halfway through where are we in relation to accomplishing them?

Here are 4 things that will help you at the rest stop.

Remember your accomplishments and successes that you have experienced up to this point.
Evaluate what is working and what is not working in your business.
Strategize. What are the biggest challenges that you facing right now in your business and make a plan to be proactive.
Turn the focus. Too often we dwell on the negativity and problems that surround us to a point that they become overwhelming. If you could find two other people close to you that are facing similar situations and determine to help them then your focus will be diverted off of your problem.

How can we help you stay on track and accomplish your goals?

Stay encouraged and keep believing!

Too often we end up chasing the things that are meant to follow. The end results are only hurt and disappointment. We have all seen or heard of a dog chasing its tail and then when it’s finally caught…OUCH! Stop and reflect for a moment on what are you chasing whether in life or business. I am a firm believer that we should celebrate our activities and the results should follow versus only celebrating if we get some results. Think about money for instance; so many chase money or things only to lose out in so many other areas. I am not saying that money is bad it is just not a great leader. Trust in the process, celebrate the activities and challenge your mind to think different.

Have you ever wanted to receive information and then have a community of professionals that will help you grow and develop?

Imagine a sling-shot… The v-shaped top with a thick heavy duty rubber band and a soft leather patch to hold the rock. You carefully pick out the rock and identify your target then begin to stretch the rubber band back as far as it can go. Having the perfect tension and the right release your rock suddenly hits its target. If it could only be that easy!

What if you are that rock and the sling shot is the catalyst to get you to your identified target but who or what is going to pull the rubber bands back? All too often we attend seminars and workshops to listen to messages which contain incredible information only to have us leave the same way we came.

We want you to experience a journey of development that will take you to the next level in your life and career. Experience messages full of potency, applicable information and a community of professionals that will cause the rubber bands in your life to stretch to their fullest potential and release you to accomplish your dreams.

Have you ever imagined what your business looks like in a snapshot? Unfortunately, not all of us can easily see our businesses as others view them, or look at a simple, clear picture of the good, bad, and indifferent. I was recently asked a question that made me take two steps back and analyze my business model–If you didn’t know that you had a problem then you didn’t need a solution either, right??? Not necessarily, often when problems surface it is usually because the situation wasn’t properly addressed at the onset, therefore bringing us into a pitfall that we have to work even harder to get out of.

Hint: Take one of your best clients and schedule a one-on-one meeting with them. Ask them to join you at your next networking function and give a 5 minute presentation on you. Have them talk about what you do and what makes you different.

Juggling and Balance are both skill sets. Juggling relies on coordination and timing while Balance requires focus and strength. Think of it this way, if you are like most professionals then our time is limited and our plates are too full. In order to keep up with this viscous cycle that we call ‘LIFE’ we start to Juggle. What we discover is that we are throwing things higher and faster in order to not fall behind. Balance on the other hand is different. To illustrate this point, when you go home try balancing on one leg with your arms out. How long can you keep this posture? To hold this posture you have to have strength in your core with complete focus and concentration. Balance is the peace in the midst of a storm. What items could you implement to acheive balance in your life or business?
